Welcome! Apply below to join the Founder Institute, where a growing number of Mentors and partners will help you build a world-class technology company. Everything about the Institute is designed to be 'founder-friendly,' from the economic terms to the supportive environment.

The Institute is looking for passionate people to apply, whether you are thinking to launch a new technology company or running a startup that's less than a couple years old. The Institute supports Founders in a wide range of industries, including digital media, software, biotech, cleantech, ecommerce, advertising, consumer electronics, and the internet. You don't even need to quit your job to attend the evening sessions. The application takes a few minutes to complete, and applications are processed as they are received.

After completing the application below, you can login at any time using your email and password and see your application status on the right hand of each page. Applicants will be invited to take a brief Admission Test immediately after the final admissions deadline. Following the test, a select group of the best applicants will be invited into the Institute.

Application Agreements

  1. You shall abide by the Institute's Terms of Use;
  2. The Institute may conduct background investigations and/or reference checks on you;
  3. The Institute may require you to perform certain tests as part of the application process;
  4. Once in the program, you will be asked to execute and abide by the terms and conditions of the Founder Agreement; and
  5. You are required to contribute a $50 USD Application Fee to help cover processing costs.
